Dear Friends,
To those who do not already know us, we would like to take a moment to
introduce ourselves. Our names are Larry and Julie Watts. We are members
of Canaanland Church in Thomasville, NC. As servants of God, we have
devoted our lives to helping God’s Kingdom grow.
We adopted the Bible verse above as our motto and we are devoted to helping
others who may be struggling in these hard times. The Bible tells us not to seek our
own, but another’s wealth. If we pray for others God will care for our needs!
That is the reason for this letter. We feel God urging us to reach out into the
mission field. This field has a broad range. From the elderly lady down the street
to the hungry child on the other side of the world… somewhere, someone needs
help.
We would like to ask our friends and Sister Churches to help. This help can come
in many forms… Financial, Physical or Spiritual. Meaning that we would welcome
any help that you may be able to give. We would be most appreciative for monetary
donations, volunteers in the mission and, of course, your prayers.
We would be glad to explain in more detail the plans we have for this mission.
